Mambate Battery & Goscam FAQ
Upon initial use, the battery may require to charge fully for achieving the maximum capacity. Most batteries will automatically stop charging when they have been fully charged.
All of our batteries can be charged by the original battery chargers. On the other hand, our battery chargers can charge the OEM batteries.
There are charging status LED indicators on our battery chargers. The LED "STAUTS" lights in red and the LED "CHARGER" flashes in green while the battery charger connected to the power supply. After you've loaded the battery, the LED "CHARGER" lights in red. The LED "CHARGER" flashes in green and red alternately when the battery is almost achieving maximum capacity (over 90%). The LED "CHARGER" will lights green when the charger completed the charging process.
All of our batteries are manufactured with high quality cells, which may not be the same material as that in OEM batteries. Actually, almost all electronic device manufacturers do not produce the batteries used in the devices. They all have to be manufactured by outside battery manufacturers. Therefore, there's no difference in turns of quality and reliability. Our aim to provide the best quality and high-performance batteries to our customers, we have adjusted the batteries' internal resistance for more stable and more reliable. As a result, there will be a little bit difference in our batteries run-time comparing with the OEM batteries' (no more than 10%).
If the battery will not be in use for a month or longer, it is recommended that it should be removed from the device and stored in a cool, dry, clean place. Moreover, a charged battery may eventually lose its charge if unused. It may therefore be necessary to recharge the battery after a storage period (May be 3 months once).
The batteries may at their end of useful life. Batteries are consumable products. After exceeding the battery life range, the batteries' charging and discharging efficiency will decline dramatically; therefore, it's time to get a new battery.
In general, battery is able to work in cold temperatures. But batteries will perform poorly at very low temperatures. Don't store your device in sub-zero temperatures; your battery may not have enough power to maintain the electronic device running.
Battery run-time on a laptop is difficult to determine. Actual battery running time depends upon the power demands made by the equipment. The use of the screen, the hard drive and other accessories results in an additional drain upon the battery, effectively reducing its running time. The total run-time of the battery is also dependent upon the design of the equipment. Generally, a new Hi-Capacity battery will run 30% to 50% longer than the old battery did when it was new.
Yes, but only if they can be kept dry as well. The higher the temperature, the more the free flow of ions or self-discharge from the battery. Storing primary batteries (D's, C's, AA's, AAA's, 9 volt, etc.) in a cooler environment slows down this rate of discharge that all batteries experience even when not in use, hence a longer shelf life. However, if this is done, it is important that the batteries be kept as dry as possible by keeping them in an airtight container in the driest part of the refrigerator, the door for example. Long term exposure to moisture inside the refrigerator can cause internal corrosion to the battery. When removing batteries from the refrigerator, allow them to warm up to room temperature before using them in your device.
Nicad and NIMH batteries should be disposed of property. Do NOT throw these batteries in the trash. NiCad batteries are composed of approximately 20% cadmium, an extremely hazardous element which is environmentally detrimental. While NIMH batteries are environmentally friendly, the higher capacity NIMH cells still contain trace amounts of cadmium. Be environmentally conscious. Recycle your batteries.
Battery chemistry and construction differ in the two systems. Since lithium is a very active material, it provides a great deal of power relative to the amount of material used in a battery. The lithium discharge curve is longer and flatter than alkaline, providing a consistently higher voltage throughout the life of the battery.

Yes, they are. Microwave signals can cross walls but this transmission is not 100% guaranteed. It depends on the thickness and building material of the walls. Most walls pose no problem for our cameras/transmitters to send microwave signals. Nevertheless, walls made of metal frames or built with thick blocks can weaken transmissions signals considerably.
Yes. Additional cameras and monitors can be purchased from our accessories section, or contact us. Most of our receivers support up to 4 cameras, and most of our cameras have 4 channels. Please refer to the product specification for detail.
Make sure each room's transmitter (Camera) is set to different channel (1-4). You can then switch back and forth between rooms by switching the channels on the receiver (Monitor).
Here are some tips: Place the transmitter where there are the fewest obstructions between it and the receiver. Place the monitor/receiver higher than the camera/transmitter. Try making adjustments to the locations of the camera/transmitter and monitor/receiver. Moving the location in any direction by only a few feet will often improve the reception.
This device, as well as all other wireless devices, may be subject to interference. Interference may be caused by cell phones, Bluetooth headsets, Wi-Fi routers, power lines and other various electrical equipment, etc. However, because most of our recievers/monitors have 3-4 channels, you can try changing the channels on both the monitor and the camera to different channels, (CH1-4), but make sure monitor and camera are on the same channel. Many 2.4GHz wireless cameras and transmitters do get interference from 2.4GHz telephones. There is no telling what problem may occur because of all the telephone manufacturers and the different telephones. The older 2.4GHz telephones occupy the entire 2.4GHz range. The newer 2.4GHz Digital Spectrum telephones do not seem to cause interference. If you have a 2.4GHz phone system or any other 2.4GHz system in your home or office and cannot get good video reception, then unplug the power to your phone etc to determine if that is the problem.
Even if the camera/transmitter is placed a few meters away from the monitor/receiver, it is frequent to experience some interferences if for instance we move the camera/transmitter sharply as we walk. These interferences are caused by the signals' high-directionality.
When Daisy head is over turned (left/right), the 'soft-touch' might become less sensitive because the connection might get loose. You can touch the very top of the Daisy and it should work (see picture). Or you slightly adjust the Daisy head's direction (left or right) to get the connection back. Momentarily unplugging the power cord might do the trick as well.
If your model's hand-held or camera comes with a rechargeable battery, plug in the A/C adaptor while it's connected to the hand-held/camera unit and let it charge to restore the battery power. Please make sure its polarities (+,-) match. Some Daisy monitors might not have a charge light, as some manuals might indicate.
